Use this OCR component to extract text from images, such as scanned
paper documents or other image-based files.

Installation

1. Extract the contents of ocr.zip to your preferred directory.
2. Open the Delphi IDE and go to Component > Install Packages…
3. In the Install Packages dialog, click the Add… button.
4. Browse to the Delphi13 subfolder, select ocrp.bpl, and click Open.
5. Click OK to confirm and complete the installation.
6. The TOcr components will now appear in the Winsoft component palette.
7. Copy all .dcu files from the Delphi13 subfolder into the ExamplesDelphi directory.
8. Open the Demo.dpr project located in this folder and compile it using the Delphi IDE.
